Campus Tour graphicDePaul's Lincoln Park campus is the oldest, largest and most active of the university's six campuses. Located on 40 acres in the heart of Chicago's historic Lincoln Park neighborhood, this campus offers a traditional university environment. About 3,000 students live on campus in DePaul's 11 residence halls and apartments.

The Lincoln Park Campus is home to the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the College of Science and Health, the Colleg​e of Education, the School of Music, The Theatre School and the extensive John T. Richardson Library.

Our three-level Student Center, which opened in 2002, offers one-stop access to student services, dining facilities, a cyber cafe and expanded space for organizations ranging from special-interest clubs to the Cultural Center. Other recent additions include the 119,000-square-foot Arts and Letters Hall, the three-story DePaul Art Museum, the McGowan Sciences Center and the Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreational Center, featuring four basketball courts, a six-lane pool and scores of fitness machines and weights.

Driving Directions
From the north and northwest
From the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94) exit at Fullerton Avenue and turn left (east.) The Lincoln Park campus is about two miles from the expressway on Fullerton Avenue and Sheffield Avenue. 

From the west
From the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290), turn onto the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94) heading toward Wisconsin. From the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94) exit at Fullerton Avenue and turn right (east.) The Lincoln Park campus is about two miles from the expressway on Fullerton Avenue and Sheffield Avenue. 

From the south
From the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/I-94) continue as the expressway becomes the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94). Exit at Fullerton Avenue and turn right (east.) The Lincoln Park campus is about two miles from the expressway on Fullerton Avenue and Sheffield Avenue. 

From Lake Shore Drive (north or south)
Exit Lake Shore Drive at Fullerton Avenue. Head west for about three miles. The Lincoln Park campus is located on Fullerton Avenue and Sheffield Avenue.

Discounted parking is available if a validated ticket is presented to the attendant. Parking validation machines are located throughout campus including the School of Music, Student Center first floor, Schmitt Academic Center and Richardson Library.


By Public Transportation 
CTA Trains
Three rapid transit train lines service the Lincoln Park area and DePaul's Lincoln Park campus. Exit at the Fullerton station. After coming down the steps, turn left (west) to Sheffield Avenue. These are the train lines servicing the Lincoln Park campus:
Howard and 95th/Dan Ryan (Red)
Linden (Evanston)/Loop (Purple)
Kimball/Loop (Brown)

You may transfer to these lines from all other train lines in most downtown stations. 

Buses
Bus routes interconnect throughout the city. Several buses stop very near the Lincoln Park campus. All routes are subject to change by the CTA. You may reach the CTA at 312-836-7000 or 1-800-972-7000 or TDD (Hearing Impaired) 312-836-4949. For more information, visit www.transitchicago.com.

DePaul's University Center for Writing-based Learning offers help and feedback that encourage students to take charge of their writing. The staff acts as readers and coaches, helping students through every phase, from planning and research to developing ideas, writing a draft and revising. They also provide assistance to students for whom English is not a first language, and they help students deal with technology and document format and design.

Wireless Network

Student Center
The Student Center is the “living room” of the DePaul University campus. From welcoming, comfortable common spaces to meeting rooms and places to eat a meal or grab a snack, the Student Center is the perfect touch-down point in the midst of busy campus life. Many meetings and events are held here, and you can also find a chapel and ministry centers, counseling services, an intercultural center, a bank, copy center, ID card services and more.
