During 1984, The Kellstadt Center was made possible through the generosity of Charles H. Kellstadt, former CEO and Chairman of Sears Roebuck & Co. the Center is a model of service for the academic and business communities, and is a focal point of DePaul's effort to provide premium marketing education. The objective is to foster a practical partnership by addressing business marketing needs in the U.S. and abroad, utilizing faculty skills, and developing outstanding marketing professionals.
The Kellstadt Center for Marketing Analysis and Planning partners with the Interactive Marketing Institute (IMI), to offer direct and interactive marketing-specific programs for non-degree seeking professionals. IMI's best known and longest running (since 1989) program, the Pennebaker Certificate in Interactive and Direct Marketing is offered through both the Kellstadt Center and IMI.
