The mission of the Interdisciplinary Science & Technology (IST) Center is to develop initiatives that address the growing impact of science, mathematics and technology on our lives. Working in collaboration with internal and external communities, the IST Center is focused on the need for a more sophisticated understanding of science among professionals, educators, students and the public. The Center builds on the strengths of the university while supporting the enhancement of a science, mathematics and technology community that is accessible to a diverse group of students, faculty and members of the Chicago area.
