Business Administration is a broad-based area of study especially appropriate for students who prefer an overall conceptual foundation and a flexible business administration curriculum. It allows students to choose, with the help of an advisor, a concentration suited to their career goals.
For example, if you anticipate starting a business of your own or taking over an existing business, you may choose the entrepreneurship/small business concentration. If you want more generalized preparation, take the general business concentration and focus on a variety of specialized areas including development, strategic planning and interpersonal relations. Or you may plan a curriculum in business administration in preparation for law school or for graduate school in business.
