This interdisciplinary program bridges several academic areas in a study of data analysis and visualization by giving students a foundation in science along with a technology core. Graduates of the program will be prepared to work within cross-functional teams developing applications across a wide spectrum of scientific areas.
The faculty is drawn from a number of DePaul academic departments and includes highly regarded and nationally recognized scholars.
As an international technology center, Chicago-based companies provide students with many internship and research opportunities outside of the classroom.
