The Course Applicability System (CAS)
CAS is an affiliation of colleges in Illinois who participate with colleges throughout the United States in a web-based environment about how courses transfer from one college to another. DePaul University is the first private university in Illinois to become a fully functioning member of the Illinois Course Applicability System, or CAS. Our shared goal is to help you choose courses wisely when preparing to transfer to another college. If you have already completed college-level work, CAS allows you to find out how that course work will fulfill degree requirements at your target transfer school.

You can use CAS as a “Guest” or create an personal account that will let you import your courses from an Illinois Community College, or from a university in other states that participate in CAS, like Ohio and Arizona.  Once you load you classes into your account, you can see how they will transfer into specific degree programs at DePaul.

Want to try it?  This link will take you to the CAS home page: www.depaul.edu/cas
