Register for Orientation and Your Chicago Quarter Class

The Premiere DePaul orientation program will provide you with all the information you need before arriving on campus for your first day of classes. During orientation, you will meet your classmates, get acquainted with the campus and surrounding neighborhoods, meet with an academic advisor and register for classes.

One of the first courses you’ll take at DePaul will be your Chicago Quarter course, either Discover or Explore Chicago. Chicago Quarter courses acquaint first-year students at DePaul with the metropolitan community, its neighborhoods, cultures, people, institutions, organizations and issues. It is through these classes that you’ll make first contact with both the university's urban identity and its Vincentian mission. You’ll also learn about university life, resources, and how to be a successful student. This learning is accomplished through a variety of means, but particularly through first-hand observation, participation, personal discovery, reflection, discussion, and guest lectures.

Sign up for Premiere DePaul Orientation and Chicago Quarter through Campus Connect beginning April 1 for students admitted to summer and fall quarters. In order to access this registration, you'll first need to submit your tuition deposit and complete the required placement process noted above.

  • Log in to Campus Connect using your username and password.
  • Use the menu sequence: Self Service > Admission > Next Steps > New Student Orientation to register for orientation.
