Financing Your Education

A college education is a sound financial decision — in fact, people who graduate from a four-year university earn almost $1.1 million more in their lifetimes than those with a high school degree.

As you would for any major investment, you’ll need to do some research and planning. We’re here to make applying for college financial aid easier.

What are my options?

Financing your degree will rely on two main types of financial aid:

Gift Aid is money that you don’t need to repay, such as scholarships and need-based grants.
Self-Help assistance means you either work for aid or it must be repaid, such as work-study programs and federal loans.
