Transfer students are admitted to DePaul each quarter -- except applicants to the School of Music and The Theatre School, which only have fall admission.
Pay Application Fee
Submit your application fee as soon as possible after applying. Fees are non-refundable, but must be submitted in order to process your application.
- $25 for online
- $45 for paper applications
Make checks payable to DePaul University. Include your name and date of birth so we can match it with your application.
Submit Official Transcripts
Send official transcripts from all colleges and universities you’ve attended – regardless of the amount of credit earned or grades.
- Admission will be based on college performance if you’ve completed 30 semester/44 quarter hours of transferable credit.
- Admission will be based on high school and college performance if you’ve completed fewer than 30 semester/44 quarter hours of transferable credit.

Transfer applicants to the College of Communication, Computing and Digital Media, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and Science and Health must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Applicants to the Driehaus College of Business, College of Education and School of Music must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
