Direct Loan Electronic Promissory Note (EMPN)

Complete an Electronic Master Promissory Note (EMPN) if you are a first-time borrower of a Federal Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan.   

Grad/Law students must complete a separate Grad Plus Electronic Master Promissory Note (EMPN).

Direct Loan Entrance Counseling

Complete the Entrance Counseling requirement for all Direct Stafford Loans.

NEW REQUIREMENT: First time Grad Plus Loan borrowers must also complete the online Entrance Counseling Session.  Select the "Combination - Stafford and Plus Loans" option and you will complete both requirements. 

Grad PLUS Supplement Forms

Grad/Law students must print, complete and submit the Grad Plus Supplement form to DePaul.

2008-2009 Grad Plus Supplement (valid 08/2008 through 06/2009)

2007-2008 Summer Grad Plus Supplement (valid 05/2008 through 08/2008)
