NEWS AND ALERTS
The 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) became available on January 1, 2008. You should complete this form as soon as possible, and preferably before March 15, 2008, to assure full consideration for all types of financial aid. If you have questions about the FAFSA, or you are unsure about the process, please contact our office for assistance.
The 2007-2008 application for summer financial aid is now available in Campus Connection under the For Students tab.
Please review the eligibility requirements and your responsibilities as a summer aid recipient before submitting your request for summer financial aid.
Once your eligibility has been determined, you will receive an email notification that your summer award has been processed. You can then view and accept your award on Campus Connection. It is important to remember that we cannot disburse your summer aid until you accept your award.
Teaching Certificate: Students completing teaching certificates are eligible for federal student loans. As a teaching certificate student you are considered a fifth-year undergraduate student and must register for a minimum of six credit hours per term in order to be eligible. As a fifth-year undergraduate student you may be eligible to borrow up to $3,500 per term in federal loans.
Educational Leadership Certificate: Students completing this certificate are not eligible for federal, state or university financial aid. Please review Private Loans and Payment Plans for other options.
Computer Science and Professional Development Certificate: Students completing these certificates are not eligible for federal, state or university financial aid. Please review Private Loans and Payment Plans for other options.
Financial aid for continuing education non-credit programs is generally limited to private educational loans. However, not all lenders provide educational loans for non-credit continuing education. Check with your lender for more information.
Funds will be applied to your tuition account after the close of business on this date. You will see the credit(s) reflected on your tuition account on the next business day.
