CAREER AND MONEY MANAGEMENT
Serving thousands of students and alumni each year, DePaul's Career and Money Management group gives students the opportunity to build upon the foundation of a practical and flexible DePaul education by gaining skills and connections that are necessary to define a career path, manage their money and find gainful and rewarding employment. These services also enhance institutional prominence and visibility by establishing a network of connections with top employers and by being a place of reference for current market trends.
The Career and Money Management strategy group encompasses the following areas:
Career Center provides DePaul students and alumni with a comprehensive, centralized resource for their career-related needs through an array of advising and career development services and employer connections, in addition to:
- Student Employment manages the posting, recruiting and hiring of thousands of student employees throughout the university.
- University Internship and Co-op Programs provide internship opportunities that allow students to fulfill DePaul's Experiential Learning requirement for Liberal Studies, where academic coursework combines with real-world, substantive work experience.
Alumni Sharing Knowledge connects current students and recent alumni with a volunteer network of alumni and DePaul friends for career mentoring and professional growth.
Financial Fitness Program provides students with tools to build money management skills, including how to manage costs and debt.
