50's

  Reunion Years: 1950 and 1955

Harry C. Lepinske (LAS ’51) received an award from the World Trade Center-Illinois and the Turkish-American Chamber of Commerce for his support of the Silk Road Region through the Central Asian Productivity Research Center, which he founded in 2001. At age 82, he still lectures for special programs at the College of Business of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.

James J. Jennings (LAW '57) has attained 50 years of membership in the Chicago Bar Association.






60's

  Reunion Years: 1960 and 1965

Edward A. Williams (COM ’62, JD ’67) has joined the Law Offices of Max Elliott Ltd. as special counsel. The practice, started by Max

Elliott (JD ’10), uses online technology to better serve contemporary families. Williams is principal of Edward A. Williams & Associates Ltd.

John P. McEvilly (LAS '68) joined Avison Young as a principal when the company acquired Millennium Realty Advisors LLC, the Virginia-based brokerage firm that he co-founded in 1997.






70's

  Reunion Years: 1970 and 1975

Sheila M. Murphy (JD ’70) is an adjunct professor at the John Marshall Law School, teaching restorative justice.

Roza Gossage (JD ’71) received an award from the Illinois State Bar Association in recognition of her extraordinary service on behalf of Illinois soldiers and military families.

Frank M. Clark (COM '72, JD '76, LLD '04), chairman and CEO of Chicago-based Commonwealth Edison Co., will retire in 2012. He began in the mailroom in 1966. He became the company's first African-American president in 2001 and its first African-American chairman and CEO in 2005. He is a member of DePaul University's Board of Trustees.

Guy F. Arvia (MBA '73) was elected first vice president of the Union League Club of Chicago. He has been a member since 1986 and during the past year served as the club's second vice president.

David Cagigal (COM '76, MBA '78) is vice chair of the board of directors for the Urban League of Greater Madison in Madison, Wis., as well as chair of the education committee. The group plans to open a charter school in 2012 to close the achievement gap for students of color.

Josephine M. Calabrese (EDU '76) published four books that are available on the Amazon Kindle. "Confessor Joe," "Confessor Joe Book Two" and "Confessor Joe Book Three" are humorous works of fiction. "Read with Your Heart and Soul" is a short book of poetry.

Robert A. Clifford (COM '73, JD '76, LLD '03) became the 135th president of the Chicago Bar Association in June and will serve a one-year term. He is founder and principal of Clifford Law Offices.

Miguel A. Velazquez (JD '77) has joined the Florida Luxury Realty firm to better serve his clients. He is part of the JMB Real Estate Group, which has multiple offices in the Tampa Bay area.

John R. Bailen (JD '78) received a Board of Governors award from the Illinois State Bar Association. He is an attorney with Bruce Farrel Dorn & Associates in Chicago.

Carl E. Poli (JD '78) was appointed as a panel chair for the Hearing Board of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois. He is an attorney with Stone, McGuire & Siegel, P.C., in Northbrook.

Robert W. Gaudry (LAS '79) has joined College Funding Professionals as senior advisor. The organization helps families find ways to pay for their children's college educations and protect their retirement without incurring unneeded debt.

Thomas W. Tuohy (COM '79, JD '82) continues to work with Dreams For Kids, the global youth empowerment charitable organization he founded in 1989. In March, he was invited to the White House to participate with Dreams For Kids youth in a field hockey game as part of the First Lady's Let's Move campaign.






80's

  Reunion Years: 1980 and 1985

Sister Jean A. Kenny (MED '81), "The Super Bowl Sister," has continued her streak of predicting the Super Bowl with surprising accuracy. Her 2011 poem, "Prolific Packers Prevail," correctly predicted that the Green Bay Packers would beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. She has a record of 19 wins and seven losses predicting the outcome of the last 26 games.

Robert D. Kreisman (LLM '81), a member of the Union League Club of Chicago since 1984, has been elected to the board of directors for a three-year term. He lives in Evanston and is a private practice attorney who specializes in medical malpractice.

Catherine M. Kukec (MUS '81) plays with the West Suburban Concert Band and former Morton College Jazz Band. She also performs with various community theatre groups and plays chamber music.

Daniel J. McAvinchey (CDM '81) co-founded TeachLearnRepeat.com, a website for online learning that features a collection of free online tools. Site members can create drills, quizzes, trivia and more.

Orbert C. Davis (MUS '82) was the artist-in-residence for the 2011 Chicago Jazz Festival.

Richard D. Fincher (JD '82) completed a one-year research assignment in Vietnam, sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development. He studied employee disputes in the manufacturing sector and made public policy recommendations that were later published by Cornell University.

Nicholas G. Hahn Jr. (COM '82) has joined Capitol Bancorp Ltd. as interim chief financial officer. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois and Ohio CPA societies and Financial Executives International.

Stephanie E. Trudeau (JD '82) has been recognized by "Best Lawyers in America" in the practice areas of employment law-individuals, employment law-management, labor law-management, and litigation-labor and employment. She is a partner in the Cleveland office of Ulmer and Berne LLP.

Francis M. Linguiti (JD '83) joined the executive committee of the Philadelphia section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He is a former research and development engineer and now is a partner practicing intellectual property law with Caesar, Rivise, Bernstein, Cohen & Pokotilow.

James C. McWhinnie (JD '83) received the 2011 Grahovac Award from Meritas in Montreal for outstanding service. He has served multiple terms between the company's board of directors, executive committee and finance committee.

Larry M. Venturelli (COM '84) will become executive vice president and chief financial officer of Whirlpool Corp. in April 2012. He joined the company in 2002 and currently serves as senior vice president, corporate controller, chief accounting officer and chief financial officer for Whirlpool International.

Renee N. Izard (CSH '84) earned the clinical nurse leader certification from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. Izard completed her master's degree in December 2010 and now works at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System in Howell, Mich.

Robert E. Bellack (COM '85) has been appointed chief financial officer of Newegg Inc. He is a senior financial executive with more than 25 years in the digital media, e-commerce and publishing spaces. He is also a certified public accountant in Illinois.

Robert P. Conlon (JD '85) was elected to the executive committee of the Walker Wilcox Matousek LLP law firm.

David C. Defrieze (JD '85) was selected as the chief counsel for the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. RDECOM researches new technologies for soldiers at labs across the country.

Jacqueline Williams (THE '87) received a 3Arts Award from 3Arts, a Chicago-based philanthropic organization. Williams' exemplary acting career was recognized at the organization's fourth annual awards ceremony at the Museum of Contemporary Art in October.

Eileen E. Brassil (COM '88) has been appointed to the executive committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center for 2011-2012. She is a CPA and a partner at Legacy Professionals LLP.

David D. Hoffman (JD '88) merged his law practice of 16 years with Smith Bovill PC of Saginaw Township, Mich. He was featured in Michigan Lawyers Weekly in July.

John F. Robinson (COM '88) was elected to a three-year term on the Union League Club of Chicago board of directors. He is a vice president of investments at UBS Financial Services Inc.

Moria A. Bernstein (COM '89, MBA '91) was named one of the 2011 Leading Lawyers in Illinois. She owns a private practice in Chicago specializing in family law and residential real estate.

Alan Cox (MBA '89) earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in May 2009 from the Medical College of Georgia.






90's

  Reunion Years: 1990 and 1995

Scott A. Rediger's (COM '90) company, Access Media 3, was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Founded in 2007, AM3 is now the largest non-franchised provider of triple-play services (Internet, TV and voice) in the Midwest.

Martin T. Tully (JD '90) was elected to a four-year term as mayor of the Village of Downers Grove, Ill. He continues to represent clients full time as a partner with Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.

Dexter Zollicoffer (THE MFA '90), a faculty member at The Theatre School, received the Spirit of DePaul Award for his leadership and service in the spirit of Saint Vincent de Paul.

Michael Evans (COM '91) founded The Cogent Advisor in 2010 to serve Chicago-area financial industry professionals. Evans, a 20-year veteran commodities trader on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, was featured on NBC Chicago in August offering advice on managing high market volatility.

Timothy Hendrickson (THE MFA '91) was diagnosed with the rare incurable blood disorder, amyloidosis, in December 2010. He started a blog, amyandme.wordpress.com, discussing his experiences.

G. Riley Mills (THE '91) is the co-founder of Pinnacle Performance Company, which teaches performance techniques to corporate executives across the U.S. and Canada as well as in London, Amsterdam, Singapore and Sri Lanka.

William H. Reynolds (JD '91) is city administrator of Pensacola, Fla. Previously, he was U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter's chief of staff, a county administrator in Wisconsin and Michigan, and a Marine Corps criminal prosecutor. He retired from the reserves in January 2010 after 27 years in the military.

Narda E. Alcorn (THE '92) joined the faculty of The Theatre School as an associate professor and head of the stage management program in fall 2011.

Colleen C. Kramer (MBA '93) is president of Evergreen Supply Company, which received the 2011 Jeffrey Butland Family Owned Small Business Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The award honors a family-owned business that has at least a 15-year track record.

Elisabeth M. Niemann (MBA '93) was named branch manager for Wells Fargo Advisors Chicagoland Market, Woodstock branch. She has been with the company for 23 years in various administrative and managerial capacities.

Amy A. Rasmussen (MUS '93) was named a White House Champion of Change for her work in arts education. The initiative celebrates U.S. leaders in a variety of fields and causes. Rasmussen is executive director of the Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education.

Suzanne E. Wiegner-Newman (CSH '93) is director of patient services for St. Luke's Home Health Services in Chesterfield, Mo. Since 1995, she has been married to Scott Newman (COM '93), vice president of finance and operations for Baue Funeral Homes. They have three children and reside in St. Charles, Mo.

Dawn M. Gonzalez (JD '94) moved her insurance coverage practice to become a partner at Baugh, Dalton, Carlson & Ryan LLC in Chicago.

Jennifer L. Segur (CSH '94) was named vice president, online channel manager at MB Financial Bank in Rosemont, Ill. She brings 15 years of corporate website management experience to the job.

Eileen M. Timmins (SNL '94) was named to Diversity MBA Magazine's list of Top 100 under 50 Diverse Executive & Emerging Leaders for 2011. She is senior vice president of human resources at R.J. O'Brien and Associates and is an adjunct professor in DePaul's Department of Management.

Bryan Dwyer (LAS MA '95) joined the staff of the Peace Corps in Honduras as the director of training and development.

Reginald S. Gibson Jr. (LLM '95) has been appointed to the 20th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for a term ending July 1, 2015. He has been vice president and associate general counsel for Hospital Management Services of Florida Inc. since 2009.

Joseph Leonas (LAS '95) was promoted to Deputy Chief of Police in the Bartlett (Ill.) police department, where he will oversee the operations division. He previously served as the detective commander.

Janice L. Minor (MUS '95) is the clarinet professor at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., and the Saarburger Serenaden: International Music Festival and School in Saarburg, Germany. She is a Buffet Crampon U.S.A. performing artist-clinician and music reviewer for The Clarinet, the official journal of the International Clarinet Association.

Raymond Salazar (EDU '95, LAS MA '03) has been a Latino English teacher in the Chicago Public Schools since 1995. He blogs about his experience at chicagonow.com/white-rhino.

Alena Tsimis (COM '95) runs I Imagine Studio, a marketing agency with an all-female staff that uses technology to communicate between remote offices in Evanston, Ill., and Santa Monica, Calif. The company, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, donates 20 percent of its work to pro bono clients.

David M. Adler (JD '97) was named a 2011 SuperLawyers Rising Star and became partner at the entertainment law firm of Leavens, Strand, Glover & Adler. He taught music law this fall at DePaul's College of Law.

Vincent M. Auricchio (JD '97) was named one of Illinois' Outstanding Young Attorneys in Business Litigation for 2011.

Kristyne L. Baker (THE '97) completed a Master of Science in speech and language pathology at Rush University.

Louise Rozett (THE MFA '97) has monologues in two new collections, "Young Women's Monologues from Contemporary Plays" and "New Monologues for Women by Women." She was the consulting producer on the short film "Civil Unions: A Love Story."

Kevin P. Taylor's (LAS '97) software consultancy company, Obtivia, was acquired by Groupon in 2011 after the two companies worked together since 2009. Taylor is a lecturer in DePaul's College of Computing and Digital Media.

Nicole M. Bencik (COM '98) is a partner at Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the country's largest public accounting and consulting firms. She is a CPA and works in Crowe's tax practice area in its Chicago office.

Ron S. Brand (JD '98) is listed in Southern California Rising Stars as one of the top regional attorneys for 2011, the first time he has received this recognition. Brand is a partner at Fisher & Phillips LLP, in Irvine, Calif.

Brian P. Hanlon (COM '98, MBA '01, JD '04) was named the Coleman Foundation Professor of Entrepreneurship, an endowed chair at North Central College in Naperville, Ill. He has been a faculty member since 2006.

Adam R. Moreland (JD '98) has joined Chuhak & Tecson banking group as a principal.

Kristin A. Waitkus McDaniel (CMN '99) is chief marketing executive for Royal Neighbors of America, a life insurance organization in Rock Island, Ill. She is also a member of the Royal Neighbors Foundation Board of Directors.

Stephanie K. Bowman (JD '00) was appointed a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Ohio in Cincinnati, where she resides with her husband and two children.

Darla R. Brown (COM '00) joined the Chicago Fire Soccer Club in Bridgeview, Ill. She will focus on securing corporate partners for the club.

Matthew F. Carmody (JD '00) has been named partner at Loeb and Loeb LLP. He works in the firm's Chicago office on complex intellectual property, business and financial services litigation.

Dr. Natalie L. Kamberos (CSH '00), a hematology, oncology and immunology fellow at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, received a $50,000 Hyundai Scholar Grant in June for her research on novel treatments of childhood lymphomas and leukemias.

Brad Leibov (LAS '00) became executive director of the Liberty Prairie Foundation, which promotes healthy ecosystems throughout Lake County, Ill. He spent five years as a partner at Terra Firma Co., a real estate firm focused on sustainable development.

Alyssa R. Schiffman (CMN '00, MS '08) is the director of operations and special projects for the Office of the Secretary at DePaul University. She manages the activities of the Board of Trustees and other university governance projects.

Sarah Sypniewski (CSH '00) was invited to read her poem, "Paws Amidst Pain," during the 9/11 Working Dog Recognition Ceremony in Jersey City, N.J. She recently co-authored "Dog Photography for Dummies."

Teresa Villa-Ignacio (LAS '00) received her Ph.D. in comparative literature from Brown University in 2010 and is now teaching in the history and literature program at Harvard University.

Craig A. Kinley (SNL '01) was chosen for the South Carolina Liberty Fellowship Class of 2013. He is CEO and principal of WiProwess, a start-up company focused on alternative energy. He stays connected to DePaul through the Alumni Sharing Knowledge Program (ASK).

Kevin B. Quinn (SNL '01) was awarded his Ph.D. in sociology on Aug. 29. He is a lecturer in DePaul's School for New Learning.

Simone C. Burns (THE '02) began pursuing a master's degree in educational theatre at the New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.

Tomeka S. Reid (MM '02) conducted the Chicago Jazz Ensemble in the world premiere of her work, "A Testimony of Faith," at the Chicago Jazz Festival this fall.

Amy L. Witt (JD '02) was appointed 2011-2012 editor of the American Bar Association's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section's Law Journal. She is an insurance coverage attorney at Plunkett Cooney in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

Erik C. Gfesser (CDM MS '03) was promoted to senior technical architect for NVISIA LLC of Chicago. He also manages projects for Taproot Foundation, the largest nonprofit consulting firm in the United States.

Tiffany R. Payne-Griffin (MED '03) has generated a buzz in the beauty industry with her blog, therealtpayne.com. She is a professional makeup artist who has two screen credits.

Crystal Mary Willingham (CDM '03) is a contractor selling products for Endless Links LLC, a socially conscious company that helps empower female Ugandan artisans. The products are all recycled, organic and repurposed materials.

JoAnn F. Fakhouri (SNL '04) was a producer for the short film "Chicago Mirage," which had its world premiere in Chicago in June. The 35-minute film tells the story of an Arab-American immigrant who spends 10 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.

Liana K. Gadeliya (MUS '04) received a Fulbright grant to study at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy for 2010-2011.

Angelita E. Hernandez (JD '04) was promoted to partner at Lindquist & Vennum PLLP in Minneapolis, where she practices real estate and construction litigation.

Mark J. Perry (THE '04) is an attorney in New York City. He is executive director of The AIDS Victory Fund, a nonprofit that provides grants for medical research on a cure for HIV/AIDS, and is associate artistic director of the Candid Theater Company in Minneapolis.

Dana A. Rice (JD '04) has been elected a partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in Chicago.

Cyrus K. Toufanian (JD '04) is now board-certified in criminal trial law. He also was elected as secretary for the Palm Beach Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Earl J. Richardson (CDM MS '05) is a partner at Adams Street Partners, which he joined in 2003. Previously, he worked with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. and NationsBanc Montgomery Securities.

Lovin M. Saini (MBA '05) has been promoted to senior product manager at Robert Bosch LLC. He started there as a rotational trainee, then entered product management for retail consumer durable goods.

Benjamin A. Churchill (MED '06) was promoted to assistant superintendent for high school teaching and learning in Community Unit School District 300 in Carpentersville, Ill. He has worked in the district since 2008.

Nathan W. Greenhalgh (CMN '06), who spent two and a half years in Europe working as a journalist, recently moved back to Chicago to become associate editor of HOTELS magazine.

Karthikeyan Chakkarapani (MBA '07) was promoted to IT director, technology solutions and operations for the American Hospital Association (AHA) in Chicago. He recently received a Computerworld Honors Laureate award for a collaborative initiative that improved communication across the AHA.

Erin T. Hartnett (LAS '07), a lieutenant junior grade in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps, graduated from the Naval Justice School in October, receiving her 27(b) court-martial certification. She is stationed at the Naval Legal Service Office in Yokosuka, Japan.

Todd S. Hofmeister (JD '07) joined Michael Best & Friedrich LLP as an associate in the firm's Chicago office. He focuses on patent work in drug discovery and development, specialty polymers and polymeric resins, and molecular biology/genetics-related technologies.

Jeffrey D. Martin (CMN MA '07) was promoted to communication director of McDonald's Corp.'s Asia Pacific Middle East & Africa Region and is now responsible for internal communication strategy and alignment across 37 countries.

Eric S. Stang (MUS '07) moved to New York City in October to star in the Tony Award-winning musical "Million Dollar Quartet" for six months as Jerry Lee Lewis. He understudied and played the same role in the show's Chicago production.

Christopher Horsman (SNL '08) was named chief information officer/vice president of technology at the Chicago Transit Authority. Previously, he was an independent IT consultant.

Bethany R. Lang (THE '08) is the manager of foundation and government grants at Christopher House, a five-site human services agency on Chicago's North Side.

Lauren A. Lapkus (LAS '08) is an actress in Los Angeles doing improv comedy, national commercials and television work. She is in an NBC sitcom, "Are You There Chelsea?" set to air in January 2012.

Elliot M. Riebman (JD '08) represented former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich from June 2009 to July 2011 at his trial and retrial on federal corruption charges.

Matthew S. Brockmeier (JD '09) moved to Arlington, Va., to work as a policy and research associate at the Law & Economics Center at George Mason University School of Law.

Rachel L. Brown (MM '09, '11) won the violin audition to play in the South Bend Symphony Orchestra.

Christopher R. Bultinck (MBA '09) began Georgetown University's master's in sports management program in the fall, concentrating in business, management and operations.

Maria Junttila Carson (THE '09, LAS '09) is living in Manhattan and pursuing a master's degree in Jewish thought from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.

Julia C. Curns (MUS '09) is the box office manager of The Theatre School's Merle Reskin Theatre.

Tosha Fowler (THE MFA '09), Megan L. Kohl (THE MFA '09) and Sarah A. Hecht (THE MFA '10) created the Vox Theatre Company. Their premiere production, "Wild Women XXX," was part of the Chicago Fringe Festival in September.

Aara A. Johnson (LAS '09) graduated in 2011 with a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. She concentrated in global public policy and international education.

Jay W. Borchert (LAS '10) won an honorable mention from the National Science Foundation for his work as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He is a graduate student representative to the Society for the Study of Social Problems, serving through 2014.

Brian J. Easley (LAS '10) is deployed with the 1st Cavalry Division to An Nasiriyah, Iraq, through January 2012. He is a disabled veteran and Army Wounded Warrior Program alumnus who, after graduating from DePaul, volunteered out of medical retirement to return to active military service.

Max Elliott (JD '10) opened the Law Offices of Max Elliott Ltd., in June. She uses technology to help better serve today's modern families, including single parents and the LGBT community. She works with Edward A. Williams (COM '62, JD '67).

Jodi S. Green (JD '10) joined Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson in November 2010, where she specializes in the defense of architects, engineers and designers in construction, design defect and professional liability lawsuits.

James R. Haluczak (COM '10) recently quit his day job and became founder, partner and manager of business development at Smart Owl Creative in Chicago. The company specializes in graphic and Web design, social media consulting, reputation management and search engine marketing.

Corey M. Ptaszynski (COM '10) is a production planner working for Mizkan Americas, a premium condiments manufacturer in Mount Prospect, Ill. He schedules production remotely for the company's plant in Dallas and controls the inventory in Kansas City, Mo.

Ryan G. Schaar (MBA '10) was promoted to director of finance of CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, where he previously was manager of financial planning and analysis.

Stacy M. Steyaert (THE '10) is the director of development and marketing for City of Fairfax Theatre and a freelance drama teacher, director and youth choreographer in Washington, D.C.

Dan P. Dvorkin (THE '11) is the co-founder, creative director and producer of Two Lights Theatre Company. Matt Olson (THE '09) is the artistic director, and Bridget Schreiber (THE '11) is a board member.

Mario A. Flores (COM '11) is a 2011-2012 public policy fellow for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington, D.C. The paid fellowship program lets talented Latino college graduates gain hands-on experience in national public policy.

Jeff R. Greene (MM '11) won the School of Music's 2011 Kleinman Competition, a $1,000 prize, for his composition, "Organics 2011 for two percussionists."

Bradley G. Robin (MM '11) and Thomas Miller (MM '96), chair of the School of Music's Department of Professional Studies, wrote original music for "The Balancing Game," a film by Peter Matsoukas (CDM MS '11). The studio orchestra included many School of Music students.

Adrienne L. Watkinson (MM '11) joined the faculty of Western Kentucky University, where she teaches violin.






Marriages & Engagements



Julie-Ann Liechty (THE '92) married Reed Gardner Williams in Los Angeles on April 8. A reception was held in Utah on Aug. 20.

Kevin W. Douglas (THE '00) married Tamberla Perry in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on May 15.

Megan C. Collins (THE '03) married Andrew Moore in Chicago on June 3. They moved to Great Britain and will live in the West Midlands region for a few years before returning to the United States. Megan will be working as a personal trainer at a local gym.

Rosemary Naeger (EDU '07) and Nate Maher (THE MFA '06) were married in St. Paul, Minn., on July 30.

Eileen Arena (CDM MS '09) married Kurt Schackmuth on March 19 in San Antonio, Texas. They reside in Joliet, Ill., and are expecting their first child in early 2012.

Liliana Huerta (MBA '10) and Michelle Rossfeld were joined in a civil union on Sept. 10. Liliana is a portfolio manager and vice president at Associated Bank. Michelle is a personal trainer in Chicago and runs women's fitness boot camps, where the two met in 2009.

Alecia Householder (CDM MS '10) and Edgar Suplemento were married on April 10 in Key West, Fla. Alecia is a systems administrator at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and Edgar is the network administrator at EPCUSD.






Births & Adoptions



Brian E. Estenson (LAS '98) and his wife, Michelle, announce the birth of their son London Xavier. He was born Aug. 1 in Palm Springs, Calif.

Ellen M. Gartland (LAS '98) and her husband, Greg, welcomed their son, Calvin Joseph Gartland, on April 9.

Louie B. Adamo (COM '99) and his wife, Maria, proudly announce the birth of their son, Gianluca Cristiano, on Aug. 1. Big brother Antonio was excited to welcome Gianluca home.

Betsy J. Levstik (JD '04) and her husband, Anthony Derwinski (JD '04), welcomed twin boys, Shane and Brody, in February 2011. Betsy is a partner at Cook Alex Ltd., and Anthony is an associate at Johnson & Bell Ltd.

Kimberly A. Veverka (MST '04) and her husband, Joseph, announce the birth of their daughter, Lilyan Grace, on July 11.

Jennifer Boers (LAS '05, MA '08) and her husband, Edward, are happy to announce the arrival of their son, Jack Edward Boers, who was born Dec. 1, 2010.

Timothy P. Gebhardt (CDM '05, MS '08) and his wife, Ashley, welcomed twin boys on Jan. 21. Derek was 5 pounds, 8 ounces, and Hugh was 5 pounds, 3 ounces.

Bethany Lugay (MUS '07) and her husband welcomed a baby boy, Jackson David Lugay, on May 24.

Jessica L. Lewis (COM '08) and her husband, Ben, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Ethan Leonard Lewis, on Jan. 17. Ethan was 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long.
