The Arthur J. Schmitt Academic Center, commonly known as "SAC," houses academic and administrative offices, including the School of Education, the Departments of History and Mathematical Sciences, the Center for Black Diaspora Studies, the Latin American and Latino Studies program, the American Studies program and the Women’s and Gender Studies program.
DePaul Central, a one-stop shop for student services, including student registration, financial aid enrollment, billing and more is located in SAC.
The Career Center is located in SAC as well, where students work with advisors to find internships or full-time positions, attend career workshops or get help with resumes.
SAC is also home to The Pit, a social gathering and study area, which includes The Bean Caffé.
