Favorite place at DePaul:
Courtelyou Commons, because of its unique architecture and medieval impression. I love going to campus events there because it feels like a formal space.
Favorite academic project:
Writing a paper about 21st century Ghana as if I were a Ghanaian teacher. I researched its economy, history, political dynamics and social classes to establish a thesis on whether Ghana should unify with the rest of Africa or divide along ethnic lines.
Favorite quote:
“Be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
Best place to study on campus:
Fifth floor of Levan Hall. It has a great view of the Chicago skyline.
Thin crust or deep dish?
Definitely deep dish. There are so many deep dish pizzerias in the city, it was hard for me not to fall in love with it.
