I chose to study in the School for New Learning because… while maintaining DePaul’s longstanding superior academic standards, the flexibility of the curriculum makes attendance possible for students who are employed full-time.

I decided to attend DePaul because… of its prestigious international reputation.

The class I most enjoyed here was… Facilitating Adult Learning. The co-instructors were extremely helpful and innovative. Every time I attended a class, I could barely wait to experience the next classroom setting. Every class session was different. It was fun to see how teachers can make a class enjoyable, with just a little creativity from the beginning to the end. Special thanks to my instructors, Karen Snyder and Bruce Williams!

As a School for New Learning student, building my own customized program has… helped me better intertwine my valuable life experiences with specialized, expert classroom instruction and meaningful interaction with my peers.

My experience as an adult student at DePaul has been... rewarding and has certainly been well worth the associated trials and tribulations!

The best thing about DePaul is… that there is always a sense of pride and great respect present regarding the value of advanced academic pursuit.
