In order to earn a minor, a student must:
- Earn at least a grade of C- in each minor course and a GPA of no less than 2.000 for all courses in the minor.
- Earn at least a cumulative GPA of 2.000 for all courses applied to the minor.
- Earn a letter grade. The pass / fail option may not be selected for courses in the minor.
- Meet the following residency requirement: at least 50% of the required courses and credit hours of a minor must be completed at DePaul. No more than 50% may be fulfilled by transfer credits, ACE (Military), AP credit, IB credit or CLEP credit.
A student may not earn a minor in the major program. Courses required to fulfill a minor are determined by the unit in which the minor resides.
