Students who minor in French Translation will gain a high level of proficiency in French and explore the theory and latest technologies of translation. Students will translate journalistic, literary, legal and business texts and complete an internship.
An individualized program can be developed for a minor after consultation with the Modern Languages staff advisor or faculty.
The minor will consist of a total of 6 courses. Courses will be taken beginning at the 200/300-level.
