The standard minor in Religious Studies exposes students to a variety of religious issues while allowing for a focus that complements students’ major course of study.

​Course Requirements 

Students must take a total of six courses.

Three courses required. Choose one course each from three of the five "Element and Issues" categories (Religious Ethics, Religious Thought, Religious Texts, Religion and Culture, Advanced Study).

Students majoring in Religious Studies (B.A.) or minoring in Women, Religion and Spirituality; Cultural Studies in Religion; or Religion: Specialized are restricted from earning this minor.
