The Specialized minor in Religion is for students who wish to create a minor focused on a specific aspect of religious studies to complement his or her personal, major or career interests. These may include politics, culture, social systems and specific religious practices.

​A student, in consultation with a departmental advisor, proposes a focused concentration of six Religious Studies courses that complement the student’s personal, major or career interests.

Students majoring in Religious Studies (BA) or minoring in Religious Studies , Women, Religion and Spirituality or Cultural Studies in Religion are restricted from earning this minor.
