Grades, Repeating Classes

A JD student who receives a grade of F or FX in a first year required course must repeat the course in the student’s next academic year.  JD students must demonstrate satisfactory completion of LAW 115LAW 481, a course that meets the Advanced Writing Requirement, and a course that meets the Professional Skills Requirement.  Satisfactory completion means a passing grade.

A student who receives a grade of F or FX in an elective course is permitted to repeat the course once.

All grades achieved are recorded on the academic record. All attempts are to be calculated into the grade point average. Credit will only be awarded for the course upon achievement of a passing grade.
