TYPES OF ADMISSION
First-Year Student: You are under age 24 and have completed at least six semesters of high school. Learn more.
Transfer Student: You are under age 24 and have completed college courses at a regionally accredited institution. Learn more.
Graduate Student: You have an undergraduate degree and are applying for a graduate degree program, or are taking graduate courses (non-degree or as a student-at-large). Learn more.
Adult/Adult Transfer Student: You are age 24 or over and are interested in an undergraduate degree or non-credit course work. Learn more.
International Student: You have been educated outside of the United States and will submit international educational credentials as part of your application, and/or you are or will be in F-1 or J-1 visa status. Learn more.
Online Learning Student: You are interested in DePaul's online distance learning programs. Learn more.
Non-Degree Student: You are interested in taking undergraduate courses for credit that will transfer to another institution (this includes high school students), for graduate school preparation, or for career advancement. Learn more.
Readmitted Student: You are a former DePaul student previously enrolled in an undergraduate degree program who has been absent from the university for three or more consecutive quarters (excluding summer sessions). Learn more.
Continuing Education Student: You are interested in taking courses without receiving college credit or participating in one of our continuing education or professional review courses. Learn more.
CDM Dual Admission: You are interested in admission to both a community college and DePaul's College of Computing and Digital Media simultaneously. Learn more.
Chicago Public Schools Bridge Student: You are a high achieving Chicago Public Schools junior or senior who wants to take classes at DePaul and earn college credit while still in high school. Learn more.
