The tools and methods of Applied Mathematics are in demand wherever quantitative analysis is used for strategic decision-making. The MS in Applied Mathematics gives you the expertise you need to use those tools and methods in business, industry or government. It also provides a solid foundation for those interested in pursuing a PhD.
Courses are held weekday evenings on the Lincoln Park Campus or online. The program can be completed in two years by taking two courses per quarter.
For international students: this is a STEM-designated program, which can qualify you to extend your post-graduation stay in the United States.
Online Degree
The online Applied Mathematics degree from DePaul University's College of Science and Health leverages quantitative skills to solve complex problems across various disciplines. This modality provides the flexibility of hybrid or fully online courses taught by experienced faculty, giving you the same quality education as on-campus students. You'll have the opportunity to connect with faculty and other students through collaborative and engaged learning.
