Superintendent Option, Educational Leadership (EdD) Education doctoral students can pursue the Superintendent Endorsement, which is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education. Students must be admitted to the doctoral program in the College of Education and complete the requirements of the program to qualify for the Superintendent Endorsement.

Requirements

This is a 40 quarter hour program, which leads to the State of Illinois’ superintendent licensure. You may have already taken one or more of these classes to satisfy other degree requirements:
