Health Sciences (BS) students must also choose a concentration. Concentrations provide focus to your major, adding to the education you receive through the college core, Liberal Studies Program courses, and your major requirements. The links below will provide more information about your options.
The BioScience concentration focuses on the natural sciences and the health of individuals, preparing students for professional programs such as medicine, dentistry, physician assistant, physical and occupational therapy, pharmacy, master's-level nursing, and more.
The Public Health Sciences concentration focuses on the social sciences and health of populations, preparing students to address community health challenges through intervention, policy, and health systems administration.
Qualified students can complete both a bachelor’s and advanced degree up to one year sooner, with courses from the first year of graduate study counting toward the undergraduate degree through the concentrations listed below. These options require a separate application and admission process, and some require enrollment in the Pathways Honors Program.
