David Pintor was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and brings two decades of experience in community engagement throughout the city. David’s professional journey has been deeply rooted in equity, education, and grassroots collaboration. As a Service Learning Program Manager at DePaul’s Steans Center, he cultivates community partnerships, faculty development, and student learning through an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) framework that centers community knowledge, relationships, and existing strengths. His diverse background includes roles in community organizing, nonprofit management, anti-oppression training, and work as a teaching artist.
He currently serves as a Master’s in Public Policy candidate at DePaul University, where he previously earned his BA in Sociology after beginning his undergraduate studies at Carleton College in Minnesota.
