The Theatre School’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Scene Design is designed to help you develop your artistic vision while gaining the practical experience needed to succeed as a professional designer. In this program, you will learn how to visualize and create the physical world of a play by working closely with directors, dramaturgs, other designers, and skilled technicians in our professional scene shop.
You will learn from experienced, award-winning faculty who are working professionals in design and the arts. Their guidance supports your growth both in the classroom and through hands-on production work. Throughout the program, you will receive feedback through portfolio reviews, presentations, and exhibitions of your work, helping you refine your skills and build a strong body of design work to support your career goals.
