Admission to the Conservatory
An audition or an interview (depending on your program) is required for admission to The Theatre School; students must submit an application ​to DePaul University (naming their intended major) before they can begin the audition or interview process.

Build essential managerial skills for theatres

The Theatre School’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre Management prepares you to work at the intersection of theatre, business, and leadership in the professional arts and nonprofit sectors. Through a four-year curriculum, you will develop an understanding of the artistry, craft, and social impact of theatre while building practical knowledge of modern business and management practices.

This program is designed to help you develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills through hands-on and experiential learning both on and off campus. You will gain the tools needed to pursue management and administrative careers in theatre and related arts organizations while learning how creative and business practices work together in the performing arts industry.
