Congratulations on your acceptance to DePaul University! Deciding on where to go to college is a big deal, which is why we plan dozens of events to make sure DePaul is the right fit for you.

Admitted Student Receptions

Beginning in March, Admitted Student Receptions take place all over the country, giving you the chance to learn more about the opportunities at DePaul as well as meet some future classmates from your area. Admission staff will be on hand to answer your questions and guide you through the next steps to enrollment.​

Admitted Freshman Preview Days

Beginning in February, each college hosts an Admitted Freshmen Preview Day specifically for future students to go in-depth into life as a DePaul student within their college. Meet with faculty and students, hear about internship and careers in related fields and explore the many opportunities available to you in your academic life at DePaul.


College of Computing and Digital Media – Friday, April 20

Admitted Information Sessions and Campus Tours

Admitted Information Sessions are offered at our Lincoln Park campus between January 8 and April 30, 2018. Each session includes information about academics, student life, student outcomes following graduation and the next steps to enrollment. Prior to your information session, you will take a tour of our Lincoln Park campus.

Fridays also offer the opportunity to attend a Housing Information Session, presented by the Department of Housing Services and current students about the on-campus housing opportunities and experiences at DePaul. Each session includes information about on-campus housing options and how to apply.

College of Computing and Digital Media Tours

The College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) tour is specifically for students interested in CDM programs. A student tour guide will share their experience as a CDM student and show you our state-of-the-art classrooms and labs.

Admitted Transfer Spring Visit Day

Join us on Saturday, April 21 for our Spring Visit Day. You'll learn about the enrollment process, discover academic and extracurricular options, and see what life is like here at DePaul. You'll also take a tour to learn more about our campus community.

Our Admitted Transfer Student Receptions take place at community colleges across Chicagoland, giving you the chance to learn more about the opportunities at DePaul as well as meet some future classmates from your area. Customized Visits

Request a Customized Visit once you’ve applied to DePaul!

We need two weeks’ notice to plan your special visit, so please be sure to fill out our form as soon as you start planning. You can select options like:
  • Observing a class
  • Meeting with a faculty member
  • Enjoying meal with a current student
  • Meeting with a representative of the Career Center, the Office of Academic Advising Support and the Office of Financial Aid
