Apply to DePaul as a Veteran
Step 1: Order Transcripts
Request official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities and have them sent directly to DePaul at electronictranscripts@depaul.edu.
Step 2: High School Transcripts
Submit your high school transcripts if you have completed fewer than 24 semester hours of college coursework and are under 24 years old, or if you have completed fewer than 12 semester hours and are 24 or older.
Step 3: Military Credit Transfer
Military Credits/Joint Service Transcripts are not required for admission but can be applied toward open elective credit. Instructions for ordering Joint Service Transcripts are available.
Step 4: Submit DePaul Veteran Benefits Form
Complete the DePaul Veteran Benefits Form to ensure your benefits are reviewed and ready for your first day of classes. If you are a veteran of U.S. military service, an eligible active-duty member of the military or an eligible dependent (see below), you may be eligible for Veterans Affairs (VA) Educational Benefits, including the Post-9/11 GI Bill® and Yellow Ribbon Program.
