Mr. Hobscheid teaches GIS and cartography. His academic career includes teaching physical geography (geomorphology and climatology), regional geography, and political geography. In his professional career, he currently works as a consultant supporting GIS activities for clients. Previously he worked for thirty years at a local government as lead cartographer and GIS Manager, before consulting for government and public utilities.
