Ana Vasquez Rivera
BIO
Dr. Ana Vázquez-Rivera brings over 20 years of experience in education, with expertise in diversity initiatives, student affairs and teaching. At DePaul Law, she oversees student diversity and wellness resources, manages law student organizations, and develops programming that supports student leadership and inclusion.
Dr. Vázquez-Rivera holds a BS in psychology, an MEd in college student personnel (now higher education) and a PhD in higher education, all from Loyola University Chicago. Her doctoral research examined the college experiences of Latinx students at predominantly White institutions. Throughout her career, she has focused on fostering positive educational experiences for all students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, and supporting them in achieving their academic and personal goals.
