BIO

Brett Davinger is the associate director of the Center for Animal Law and program manager for the Center for Intellectual Property Law & Information Technology (CIPLIT). He manages logistics for educational and networking events, including CIPLIT’s three-day Intellectual Property Scholars Conference, and promotes both centers and their faculty through direct outreach and social media. He also contributes to the law school’s marketing efforts by writing news stories that highlight students, faculty and programs. 

Outside of DePaul, Brett works with contracting agencies to provide legal services. He earned a JD from DePaul Law and a BA in journalism from New York University, and he holds CIPP/E and CIPP/US certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
