BIO

Clarisse Callahan (she/her) earned her BA in Digital Cinema from DePaul University in 2018 and has spent more than a decade working in the film and television industry, primarily in the camera department. During her time in Los Angeles, she gained valuable experience working at a camera rental house and on a variety of non-union film productions.

Upon returning to Chicago, Clarisse joined ICG Local 600 as a Digital Utility and has worked on numerous commercial and television productions throughout the city. In early 2025, she returned to her alma mater as the Camera Vault Coordinator at DePaul's School of Cinematic Arts, where she helps film students navigate their camera equipment needs.

A lifelong camera enthusiast, Clarisse is passionate about filmmaking, Chicago's production community, and the ever-evolving technology behind visual storytelling. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and spending time with friends and family.
