David is a driver of growth in the food and beverage industry. With solid consumer understanding, innovation experience, and proven marketing and general management skills, David now works at DOM Capital Group where he identifies investments in new consumer-based opportunities in Food and Beverage and helps to grow and foster start-up businesses to reach their full potential in this dynamic space.
David joined DOM Capital from Tyson Foods where he led growth through innovation, marketing and intrapreneurial business (Vice President of Marketing, Innovation and VP/GM of Deli and Alternative Protein). David is noted at Tyson for driving media efficiencies, developing new brands like Hillshire Snacking, launching new platforms like Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles, and leading the Deli and Charcuterie businesses for several years. David’s largest contribution was the development of the Alternative Protein practice where he developed new brands, capabilities and investment strategies for Tyson to take advantage of one of the most vibrant growth spaces in food.
Before joining Tyson, David began his career focused on the consumer at Kraft Foods where he worked in brand management on both big brands - Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and Kraft salad dressing - and on small brands - Stove Top, Minute Rice, Kraft Pasta Salad, and Good Seasons.
David received a B.S. in Communications and Economics and a M.S. in Marketing from Northwestern University. He is a father of three boys, a trained cook, a culinary inspired eater.
