David Habich
BIO
David Habich is senior legal counsel at Accenture, where he serves as the global legal lead for cyber strategy and cyber intelligence with Accenture Security. In this role, he advises on complex cybersecurity matters and helps shape strategic initiatives across the organization.
Habich also is an adjunct professor of law at DePaul University, where he teaches cybersecurity law. He has previously taught criminology and cybersecurity courses at both DePaul and Bellarmine universities.
Before joining Accenture, Habich served as a supervisory special agent and legal counsel with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), working in multiple field offices and at FBI Headquarters in the Office of the General Counsel. He also served as a special assistant United States attorney in the Northern District of Illinois and the Western District of Kentucky.
Following law school, Habich clerked for the chief justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He also is a former fellow with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
