Deborah LaGioia joined DePaul Law in 1998 as LLM program coordinator and was promoted the following year to assistant dean for marketing and communications. In that role, she led all strategic marketing and communications initiatives for the college. In 2012, she was promoted again to assistant dean for institutional effectiveness, where she was responsible for academic assessment, ABA accreditation compliance, academic program development, strategic planning and market research in support of the dean.

In 2020, her roles were consolidated, and she now oversees both accreditation and marketing communications for the College of Law, combining her expertise in institutional planning with her background in strategic messaging and analytics.
