BIO

Dominique Cressler is the program coordinator for the DePaul Migration Collaborative (DMC), a joint initiative of the College of Law and the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. In this role, she supports the Collaborative’s Practitioner-in-Residence program, student workers and other DMC initiatives. 

Dominique earned her BA in Global Studies with coursework in Middle East & North Africa and Arabic from the University of Richmond, where she was both a Bonner Scholar and a Gilman Scholar. She also completed an Immigration Law Specialist Certificate from the Washington Technical Institute and earned her MS in Refugee & Forced Migration Studies, with distinction, from DePaul University. 

Before joining the DMC, Dominique interned with several organizations, including the International Rescue Committee, Church World Services, the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, Reclaim Childhood, RefugeeOne and Heartland Alliance Health. These internships spanned different areas of the refugee resettlement process, including English as a Second Language, case management and employment services.
