Garreth A. DeVoe
BIO
Garreth A. DeVoe is a senior counsel in the Chicago office of Buchalter LLP. He represents property owners, general contractors and suppliers, as well as engineering, transportation and manufacturing companies, in complex construction and commercial lawsuits and arbitrations using an aggressive and analytical approach while maintaining timely client communication. He has obtained successful trial verdicts and arbitration awards for clients across the country.
Prior to joining Buchalter, DeVoe practiced law at another Am Law firm and served as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ignacio Torteya, III of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. In addition to maintaining a full-time practice and teaching at DePaul Law, he co-chairs the Chicago Bar Association’s Commercial Litigation Committee.
