Biography

James Moore is Associate Director of DePaul University's AI Institute and Director of Online Learning for the Driehaus College of Business. He teaches Artificial Intelligence and Internet Marketing through DePaul's Flex modality, a format that lets students move seamlessly between the classroom and online learning when work or family responsibilities make the commute impractical.

A key contributor to the development and launch of the AI Institute, James focuses on integrating AI into teaching practice across the university. His work has earned national recognition, including the Schullo Best Distance Teaching Practice Award at the 34th Annual Distance Teaching & Learning Conference (2018) and two Kellstadt Marketing Center Distinguished Professional Educator Awards for Excellence in Teaching. He has also contributed chapters on Search Engine Optimization to the IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) Handbook.

James holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Information Technology from Middlesex University and a Master of Science in Telecommunications Systems with a Computer Science concentration from DePaul. Passionate about technology and practical problem-solving, he brings together AI expertise and a deep understanding of digital marketing, guided by the belief that the quickest, simplest solution is often the most effective one.
