BIO

Jennifer Groszek is an assistant attorney general in the Crime Prevention & Victim Services Division-Crime Victim Compensation Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. She has more than 20 years of experience as an attorney and claims and business consultant, and as a former prosecutor and civil litigator, she has an extensive litigation background.

In her previous in-house roles, Groszek created and led the risk management group for a large professional liability broker and obtained her Associate in Risk Management designation. She has consulted firms nationwide on conflicts, firm management and risk management issues. Groszek also previously managed large environmental claims and high exposure D&O/E&O matters with a focus on litigation management, comprehensive case evaluation, claim management and coverage evaluation along with trial strategy.
