Jessie Ousted

Jessie Olstad is the coordinator for the Office of Law Admissions. Since joining DePaul Law in March 2024, she has enjoyed guiding students as they take the first steps toward their legal careers. Previously, Jessie served as the student coordinator for Loyola University Chicago’s Graduate, Professional and Adult Student Life department while earning her MA in Women’s Studies and Gender Studies. 

A self-described “forever student,” Jessie is currently completing a second master’s in Media and Popular Culture through DePaul’s College of Communication. Her academic work includes conference presentations and research on the relationship between media and gender. She also authored the thesis, "Loverboy Rules: A Transtheoretical Exploration of Andy Bernard’s Failed Masculinity." Jessie received a BA from Washington State University and MA from Loyola University Chicago. Her second MA from DePaul University is in progress.
