BIO

Lauren Harrison is an advancement professional skilled in securing transformational philanthropic support and leading strategic fundraising initiatives in higher education and the arts. As executive director of development at DePaul Law, she oversees major gift activity and development strategy in collaboration with academic and university leadership. 

Lauren began her career in arts advancement, working with institutions such as Phoenix Art Museum and Lyric Opera of Chicago. Prior to joining DePaul, she served in a senior fundraising role at Columbia College Chicago where she led parent and family giving, managed a portfolio of high-capacity donors, and played a pivotal role in executing institutional events and grant-funded initiatives. 

Known for her creativity and commitment to mission-driven work, Lauren is passionate about connecting donors to opportunities that reflect their values and create lasting impact. She holds a master’s degree in liberal studies with a focus on arts development and program management from the University of Denver and a BFA in musical theatre from the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. Her background in the arts continues to inform her approach to storytelling, relationship-building and team leadership.
