BIO

Luiz Thiago Furlan is a founder, advisor, and professor whose work connects strategy with real-world execution. As a principal consultant and advisor, Luiz specializes in strategy prioritization and major project delivery for organizations navigating complex growth and transformation. As the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Crestline Capital, he oversees a mission-driven portfolio of syndicated land investments designed to generate strong investor returns while expanding access to affordable land ownership.

Luiz’s career includes leadership roles across healthcare and financial services, where he led large-scale transformation and modernization initiatives at ATI Physical Therapy, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Assurant, and Discover Card.

In parallel with his corporate and entrepreneurial work, Luiz has spent more than a decade teaching at DePaul University. He has also served as a visiting professor at Wake Forest University. Luiz’s teaching style is grounded in real-world practice, bringing practitioner-informed frameworks and examples into the classroom to bridge academic concepts with practical application.

Luiz holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and maintains professional certifications in project management, Lean Six Sigma, agile delivery, and organizational transformation.
