Maria Diaz Campo
BIO
Maria Paula Diaz Campo is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at DePaul University. She holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Florida International University (FIU) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Analytics, also from FIU.
Her research interests sit at the intersection of human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence, focusing on how AI-driven interfaces shape user behavior and decision-making. She is particularly interested in how design choices affect vulnerable and marginalized users, including questions of accessibility and inclusion, and in how organizations navigate AI adoption.
Maria teaches Introduction to Information Systems and Analysis and Design Techniques at DePaul.
