Meredith Carroll

​​Biography

Meredith Carroll (she/they) is a writer and educator with just over ten years of professional experience in higher education. She has held roles that range from study-away admissions to social media management. She is currently a writer on the marketing and communications team for DePaul's Driehaus College of Business​. They received their MFA in Fiction from I​ndiana University in 2023, where they earned the Ross Lockridge, Jr. award for best novel excerpt.  Their creative work explores characters' relationships with their pasts, their memories, and the more-than-human world. Outside of work, they love backpacking, long bike rides by the lake, and romping around the yard with their partner and their Pomeranians.​
