Michele Morgan
BIO
As a Teaching Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, I contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and graduate courses in community and clinical psychology, with an emphasis on engaged, mission-driven pedagogy across DePaul University's College of Science and Health. My teaching centers on belonging, inclusion, social justice, and wellness, fostering learning environments that support the academic success and holistic development of diverse student populations.
My service reflects a commitment to shared governance and institutional engagement. I serve on Faculty Council and am an active member of the Department of Psychology's DEI Committee and Belonging Committee, where I support initiatives that advance departmental priorities and DePaul's Vincentian mission of human dignity, community, and social transformation.
My research and applied scholarship examine institutional practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education, with additional interests in culturally responsive interventions and inclusion policies for students with diverse abilities. Across my teaching, scholarship, and service, I seek to advance educational environments where all students experience belonging, opportunity, and the conditions necessary to thrive.
