Professor Michelle Brown joined the College of Law in fall 2007. Prior to teaching, she was an associate at Roberts & Vess PC in Wheaton, Illinois, where she handled a variety of commercial litigation matters. She is actively involved in the Association of Legal Writing Directors (ALWD), the Legal Writing Institute (LWI), and the Legal Writing, Reasoning, and Research Section of the Association of American Law Schools. She received her bachelor's degree and JD from the University of Illinois.
