Mike Gillis is the head writer for The Onion and teaches creative comedy writing as an adjunct professor in the Comedy Arts Program. He's also written for The New Yorker, The Atlantic, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Tricycle, ClickHole, Cards Against Humanity, and the Supreme Court (in the form of an amicus brief defending parody that he co-authored). His short stories have shown up in Hobart, the Chicago Quarterly Review, Blackbird, The Pinch, and PULP Literature. He also loves writing for video games, which he's done at Netflix Games, Annapurna Interactive, BLENDO Games, and Day of the Devs-affiliated studios, as well as with the collective Serious Hats Only, whose games have been featured in indiepocalypse and Super FESTival.
