Minseon Ku
BIO
Minseon Ku joined DePaul in 2025. Her primary research and teaching interests are diplomacy and IR Theory, political psychology, and critical security studies with a regional focus in East Asia. Her research has been published in the European Journal of International Relations, the Hague Journal of Diplomacy, International Organization, Media, War & Conflict, and the Review of International Studies. She has also contributed policy commentaries on US-North Korea nuclear diplomacy and South Korea foreign policy in multiple policy outlets, including The Diplomat and The National Interest.
Dr. Ku received her PhD in Political Science from The Ohio State University in 2023. Prior to joining DePaul, she held postdoctoral fellowships at Dartmouth College and College of William & Mary.
